VIDEO: WHEEL FALLS OFF PLANE DURING TAKE OFF; PASSENGER CAPTURES ON PHONE

In a shocking case, an Air Canada Express flight lost one of its wheels soon after takeoff. The flight was going from from Montreal to Bagotville, when it was forced to turn back to the airport. 

The incident took place when the flight no 8684 was heading to Bagotville. According to CNN reports, there were 49 passengers on board when the incident happened. Also, none have been hurt.

Meanwhile, this horrifying video was captured by one of the passengers who shared it on social media. Experienced pilots managed the situation well and were able to turn the flight around and land safely, CNN further reported.

The passenger who made it viral captioned the video saying, "I'm currently on a plane that just lost a wheel. 2020 starting off well."

Hours after the incident, a spokesperson for Jazz Aviation in a statement said that "the experienced pilots maintained complete control of the aircraft. Our pilots are well trained to deal with such situations and responded according to our standard operating procedures."

"Our maintenance personnel in Montreal are conducting a thorough inspection of the aircraft to determine the cause and proceed with the necessary repairs," the statement further added.

As soon as the flight landed, emergency vehicles were called as a precautionary measure for passengers and staff. Watch the video below:
