Forbes cited sources in its report who confirmed that a new secret new weapon system is being developed by the US military and they are in fact surprised that Trump revealed the information.

According to reports, there is a possibility that Trump was talking about W76-2 warhead, according to defense publication Task & Purpose

The weapon was initially announced in Feb 2018 as a low- cost addition and they also informed that the yield is lower than bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The comments were made while Trump was in conversation with Woodward during one of 18 on- the record interviews that are being held by the Watergate journalist for his latest book.

“Trump reportedly made the comments when reflecting on how close the U.S. came to war with North Korea in 2017, near the beginning of his presidency. Tensions have decreased some through the remainder of his term, and Trump has met multiple times with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un,” Forbes cited in its report.
