Three days after the eight suicide bombing attacks in Sri Lanka that killed at least 359 people and injured over 500, a new bomb was found in downtown area of Colombo on Wednesday.

According to NDTV, a local security guard of a shopping mall, who witnessed the whole event, said a bomb was found hidden in a motorbike, fortunately defused and no causalities were reported. Meanwhile, local police officers have detonated the bomb and removed the motorbike.

Currently, several people have been arrested in connection with the attacks. Police spokesman Ruwan Guansekera said. "The number of death now is 359". The Sri Lankan police have taken 58 suspects in custody.

Yesterday, it came as a shock when the Islamic State terror group claimed responsibility for the devastating Easter blasts in Sri Lanka and identified the suicide bombers who were involved in the attacks. Seven suicide bombers carried out a series of devastating blasts that tore through churches and luxury hotels in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday.

Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe held a press briefing on Tuesday where he confirmed that India had provided prior intelligence on the jihadi threat. According to India Today, Wickremesinghe  said, "they (India) have always shared intelligence with us. There was specific intelligence on this."
