RECOVERED CORONAVIRUS PATIENTS IN CHINA TEST POSITIVE AGAIN, REVEAL DOCTORS

As the world is still reeling over the outbreak of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, a shocking news is currently going viral where upto 14 percent of the recovered coronavirus patients in China have tested positive again. 

Medical experts, have revealed that three to 14 percent of the former patients, who were diagnosed with the virus before, are currently facing the same symptoms again. As per a Daily Mail report, experts are fearing that China is facing a second outbreak of the virus due to the increasing number of imported cases. 

Wang Wei, Director of Wuhan's Tongji Hospital, told CCTV broadcasting company that doctors in Wuhan found that five of the 147 patients in a study tested positive again after recovery. In the study, the Wuhan medics, were surprised to see the recovered patients showed no symptoms after testing positive again. 

But the researchers found no evidence that they became infectious after recovery as their family members all tested negative, the study further stated.

Till date, China has discharged 74,051 patients with over 90 percent of its infected cases from hospitals as of yesterday. 

Globally, more than 5,00,000 people are infected with the deadly virus while nearly 20,000 people have died.
