The group of people, who had gone down the Santa Maria river in September 2014 came across a 17-feet long snake. It was Sirlei Oliveira's husband Betinho Borges and friend Rodrigo Santos, who caught sight of it, Daily Mail further reported.

After Borges attempted to catch the anaconda by its tail, the snake tried to get away from the boat and desperately moved. Borges even asked his friend to help him get hold of the snake, while Oliveira can be seen yelling in Portuguese to her husband: "Leave it! Oh my god."
