In a sad and shocking case, a 28-year-old South Korean singer and actress was found dead in her home in Seoul. She is best known as a former member of the K-Pop group Kara, which she joined in 2008.
The star has been identified as Goo Hara, who had also appeared on television and released music by herself.
According to the police, the cause of her death is still uncertain and under investigation. Hara had appeared at a series of comeback performances last week after being hospitalised in May. She also apologised to her fans after an alleged suicide attempt and causing concerns and a commotion.
As per BBC reports, the 28-year-old star was found dead at around 09:00 GMT on Sunday in her home. She had also shared her last post on Instagram, which was a photograph of herself in bed with the caption that read as "Good night".
Hara's death comes just after a month since another former K-Pop girl band member, Sulli, was also found dead in a suspected suicide after struggling with online bullying. Minutes after the news going viral, fans have been taking to social media to express their shock over the incident.
