US President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka traveled with her family from Washington to Bedminster, New Jersey, last week to celebrate Passover celebration. She and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner totally ignored federal recommendations during the coronavirus lockdown, the White House confirmed.

They went on this trip to mark the Jewish holiday, which began on April 8 and ended on Thursday (April 16). They left from Washington, DC and were staying at Trump's family golf resorts in Bedminster.

The White House, confirmed this news after The New York Times reported it first saying the trip did not involve many people than if Trump and Kushner had stayed put.

Meanwhile, a statement over the same read as, "Ivanka -- with her immediate family -- celebrated Passover at a closed down facility considered to be a family home. Her travel was no different than if had she been traveling to and from work and the location was less populated than the surrounding area near her home in D.C."

"While at Bedminster she has been practicing social distancing and working remotely. Her travel was not commercial. She chose to spend a holiday in private with her family," the statement further added.

Highlighting about each others religion, Kushner is Jewish and Ivanka converted before marrying.

Earlier in the month, Ivanka took to social media and requested Americans to respect the guidelines to help slow deadly coronavirus spread.
