An undersea earthquake struck the coast of central Indonesia which recorded a strong magnitude of 6.2 on the richter scale at 12:13 pm today but no immediate casualties and damages were reported. The US geological survey reported that the undersea quake hit about 300 kilometres at a depth of 29 kilometres, south of the popular holiday island of Lombok. No tsunami warnings were issued by Indonesia’s disaster agency.
