GOOD NEWS! INDIAN STUDENTS TO GET JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN ONLINE GAMING, SAYS GOVT 

This pandemic has made the younger generation spend more time indoors with online gaming. As parents are annoyed to see their child gaming most of the time at home, here is good news for both parents and the gamer. 

So if you are a gamer, then this might be good news for you and your parents, who might finally stop scolding you. The Union Education Ministry is planning to support the students in the field of online gaming and toy making. This plan will aim to generate employment opportunities for them.

As per an Economic Times report, the ministry will soon organise a national level hackathon on 'online games' where each gamer will showcase their talent. Meanwhile, the school children will also be given the experience of Indian toy art. 

Also, for students, who would want to develop toy and puppet making skills; they will be given special training and taught the art of toy and puppet making. All this will be in accordance with international standards.

Giving his views, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that soon ‘a hackathon will be organised for students of higher education institutions through innovation in toy technology and design, including online games, ET further reported. 

The Union Education Minister also shared his ideas on the possibilities of employment in the toy industry and online gaming in line as it has a huge potential which students can utilise. He said toy and puppet making will be introduced as a theme of 'Kala Utsav' which will encourage students to explore and develop various local toys.
