There are plenty of reasons we open incognito tab, some innocent enough to book tickets and some to avoid browser history. But going incognito doesn't mean our searches aren't tracked.

Google and Facebook track your porn watching habits on incognito

Shocking, right? Yes, A new study explains how Google and Facebook are tracking your porn watching habits, even on incognito!

A team of researchers sampled 22,484 adult content websites using tracking software to log on to users' preferences. About 93% of these websites tracked data and sent it to at least 7 third-party organisations.

The lead author stated that, "These porn sites need to think more about the data that they hold and how it’s just as sensitive as something like health information. Protecting this data is crucial to the safety of its visitors. And what we’ve seen suggests that these websites and platforms might not have thought all of this through like they should have."

Though parents might not be viewing your browser history, these giants are. Recently, a couple's private moment was leaked online as hackers hacked a smart TV following the husband watching porn.
