VIDEO: TRICHY BHEL BANK ROBBERY CCTV FOOTAGE RELEASED!

On October 30, a burglar broke into the BHEL Employees Cooperative Bank in Trichy and escaped with a bag containing Rs 1.43 crore in cash. The CCTV footage of the incident has now been released.

The incident came to light when the employees opened the bank the next day. Reportedly, the burglar has entered the bank by unfastening one of the windows.

In the footage, the burglar walks-in in a relaxed manner, straight away goes to a particular place in the bank, brings a suitcase with cash and transfers it to his bag before leaving within minutes.

Police investigations revealed that Rs 1.5 crore was withdrawn from the bank on the day of the crime. Bank officials used Rs 7 lakh for some purpose and kept the rest amount in a bag.
