According to reports, in the Anna Nagar 2nd Avenue branch of the famous hotel Saravana Bhavan, a bag with a huge amount of Rs 25 lakh was abandoned by two people who went to the hotel on Thursday.
A server, who noticed the bag, opened it to see if he will be able to find any identity proof so that he can hand it over to its owner. However, he was shocked to find the huge amount in the bag.
After keeping the bag in the hotel for some time waiting for the owners, the hotel authorities reportedly decided to hand over the bag to the police.
