In a shocking case, Puducherry Minister became a victim of phone-snatching on Monday night.
According to ANI news agency report, Puducherry Education Minister R Kamalakannan's mobile phone was allegedly snatched by unidentified miscreants, who came on bike. The incident happened when he was taking a walk along the famous Beach Road.
Kamalakannan, was walking on the road on Monday night without any security, when a motorcycle-borne gang snatched the phone away from him, reports local media.
A case has been registered in this matter and police are currently investigating the case. Meanwhile, the cyber crime police are also examining CCTV footage in that area to track the alleged culprits.
