GRADUATES LEARN 'PAROTTA' COURSE; GOOD SALARY, ON-SITE OPPORTUNITIES IN 130 COUNTRIES; DETAILS LISTED

True talents always get much-needed spotlight and recognition upon consistent effort and perseverance. The modern youths do not just depend on Engineering, MBBS and other college degrees since they believe in their unique talents. One such instance is Madurai where Muhammad Khasim trains a bunch of youngsters including Graduates to cook 'Parotta' and 'Salna' (Curry ate along with Parotta). 

In an exclusive News 18 report, Muhammad Khasim describes the need for Parotta Masters not just in Madurai but around the world. He says, "When I used to run Parotta shop I faced a huge demand for Parotta masters. Therefore, I started training youngsters within the shop itself. As the days passed by, the demand increased and other people started asking me for Parotta masters".

It is said that a parotta master earns from Rs 600 to Rs 3000 per day in Madurai itself. "Parotta is being consumed around 130 countries in the world. Once the students complete the training, we will also create job opportunities for them," Says Khasim who runs 'Selfie Coaching Centre' in Aanaiyur, Madurai.

The entry fee for the 'Parotta' course at Selfie Coaching Centre is fixed to be RS 1000. For every successive phase in the coaching process, students would have to pay RS 100 as per the report. One of the training centre students says, "I worked in foreign countries for 13 years. I know to cook various dishes. But I don't cook Parotta. So, I wanted to learn it. The learning process is good and I like the method of teaching"

The course has both theoretical and practical classes. Students get to learn the recipe of varieties of Parotta - Kothu Parotta, Mutta Parotta, Veechu Parotta, Malaysian Parotta and Bun Parotta to name a few.
