WEATHER UPDATE FOR NEXT 2 DAYS; HEAVY RAIN PREDICTED

The Chennai Meteorological Centre announced that slight rainfall shall be expected in the next 24 hours in Tamil Nadu due to convection.

The report also predicted that heavy rain can be expected on December 20 (Friday) in districts- Ramanathapuram, Tirunelvelli, Thoothukudi, Kaniyakumari, Sivagangai and Virudunagar.

As far as Chennai is concerned, the cloudy atmosphere can be expected in certain areas whereas slight rainfall would pour in other areas.

The prediction also stated that a maximum of 87.8 degrees Fahrenheit would be registered in Chennai and a minimum of 75.2 degrees Fahrenheit can be expected.

Further, a maximum of 3cm rainfall was registered in Vedharanyam while Paamban and Thondi saw 1 cm of rain in the last 24 hours.
