Govt school teachers get digitized evaluation process soon

The issue was addressed to the government officials who are now in the process of devising a new plan to reduce teacher's evaluation time, thus giving them extra time to complete the syllabus. According to TOI, the education department is likely to digitize the tabulation of marks in the near future.

One of the senior officials from the education department acknowledged the continuous requests from the teachers and principals of Government schools to streamline the evaluation process. "Teachers expressed their difficulties over spending several hours on tabulating marks. They also told us how it affects the completion of syllabus," said the official.

The official further confirmed that the process to digitize the tabulation methods has been under consideration and all the Government schools will be notified soon. Reportedly, the officials from the school education department told that the digital tabulation method would be brought into use from the next academic year, mainly for the evaluation process of board exam answer sheets.
