DMK MLA Masthan tests positive for COVID-19

Earlier, three MLSs from the party including J Anbazhagan (Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni), Vasantham Karthikeyan (Rishivandiyam) and R T Arasu (Cheyyur) had tested positive for COVID-19.

J Anbazhagan, unfortunately, succumbed to the virus.

Tamil Nadu on June 17 reported 3,713 new COVID-19 positive cases taking the tally to 78,335. Death toll in the State crossed 1,000-mark (1025) after 68 patients - highest so far - succumbed to the virus on the day. 44,094 patients have been discharged following treatment so far.
