COVID-19: TWO DEATHS, 54 NEW POSITIVE CASES IN TAMIL NADU; DETAILS LISTED

The state’s death toll rose to 20 after it reported two deaths on the date.

Total number of passengers in government quarantine facilities – 106
Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 34 (23 government and 11 private)
Total number of samples tested till date – 65,977
Total number of samples tested today – 6954
Total number of persons tested till date – 59,952
Total number of persons tested today – 6880
Total number of suspected individuals in isolation ward admission – 1787
Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 752
Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 90
Total number of active cases on date - 908
Total number of deaths till date - 20
Number of ventilators available – 3371
Number of isolation beds available – 29,074
