A 24-year-old male from Trichy with a travel history to Dubai was found positive for Coronavirus, Tamil Nadu Health Minister Vijayabaskar said on Thursday. The patient has been kept in isolation and treated at Trichy Government Hospital.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy addressed the state through television on Wednesday. He appealed to people to stay behind closed doors and cooperate with the government in its fight against the virus.
The Chief Minister said people not to panic as there will be no shortage in the supply of essential commodities such as medicines, rice, vegetables, milk, meat and other groceries.
