Yet another DMK MLA has tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection. The MLA of Chengalpet district's Cheyyur, R.D. Arasu had given his swab sample and he was declared Covid-19 positive on Saturday morning.
Cheyyur DMK MLA Arasu tests positive for COVID-19 in Chennai

He has been admitted to a private hospital in Chennai for treatment. Followed by his result, his family members have given their samples and are awaiting results.

Arasu is the third DMK MLA to test positive for the infection following J. Anbazhagan and K. Karthikeyan. Unfortunately, J. Anbazhagan succumed to the virus.
