BOMB BLAST IN CHENNAI NEAR POLICE STATION; CCTV RECORDS THE INCIDENT

Two Motorists threw country made bombs on a Fortuner car near Teynampet Police station, reports TOI. The incident happened on Tuesday ( March 3) at around 4 PM. 

Reportedly the people inside the car and other motorists escaped unhurt. According to the CCTV footage, the motorists were racing towards Teynampet before throwing the bombs on the car that was approaching from the opposite side.

While the smoke out of the blast surrounded the area, a Maruti swift car that was parked outside a showroom suffered minor damage.

The police have formed a special team to investigate the incident since the reason for the men throwing the country made bombs remains unknown.
