4TH DEATH REPORTED IN INDIA, WHILE CHENNAI REPORTS 3RD POSITIVE CASE OF CORONAVIRUS

As the positive cases of deadly COVID-19 is increasing in India day by day, the country today reported its fourth death due to the virus. The deceased, was a man, who returned from Germany via Italy few days back. He died at a hospital in Punjab's Nawanshahr district; after complaining of severe chest pain, as per news agency PTI.

4th death in India coronavirus, 3rd Positive Case in Chennai 

State Principal Secretary (Health) Anurag Aggarwal confirmed the news saying that the samples tested positive; he was also a patient of diabetes and hypertension.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare stated that, the total number of positive cases of COVID-19 in India stands at 167 (including 25 foreigners), 4 deaths (1 each) in Delhi, Karnataka, Punjab and Maharashtra.

Highlighting about Tamil Nadu's recent case, a 21-year-old student who arrived in the city two days ago from Ireland tested positive for coronavirus. Health Minister C Vijayabaskar took to social media and said, "#coronaupdate: 21 Y student from Dublin,Ireland tested positive for #Covid19. On his arrival on 17.3 @Chennai,he was screened & home quarantined.Y’day18.3 he reported to RGGH with symptoms.Samples sent for testing y’day,confirmed positive today. Pt is stable in isolation at RGGH."
