Kolkata missed out on an easy chance in the match against Bangalore.
The 6th league match of the IPL series was played at the Mumbai ground yesterday. The Royal Challengers Bangalore, led by Du Plessis, clashed with the Kolkata Knight Riders, led by Shreyas Iyer. Batting first, Kolkata lost the toss and elected to field. Kolkata lost all their wickets in 18.2 overs and scored only 128 runs.
Following this, Bangalore batted with a target of 129 to win. But Captain du Plessis, who made his debut, was bowled out for 5 and Anuj Rawat was ducked out.
