WHOM DID GANGULY PICK? - DHONI OR PANT?

MS Dhoni - it has been 15 years since the name became a household name. He rose from a fresh talent to a legend. He is the nation's favourite captain and wicket keeper. However, former skipper and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has other ideas.

The BCCI President is also the brand ambassador of My11Circle, a cricket fantasy platform. Fans are also interested in playing the game.

In an event on Friday, Ganguly was asked to create his fantasy IPL team including him. He picked various players, both young and experienced but however, Dhoni was no where to be seen in the list.

Extra Time reports Ganguly said “It’s purely for fun, to entertain all. Pant is a young wicketkeeper-batsman. I don’t want any debate for it,” when asked about why he picked Pant over Dhoni.

Ganguly's fantasy XI includes Sourav Ganguly (c), Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, David Warner, Rishabh Pant (wk), Andre Russell, Jasprit Bumrah, Marcus Stoinis, Riyan Parag, Jofra Archer and Ravindra Jadeja.
