Team India captain and skipper Virat Kohli is all set to break former Indian captain MS Dhoni’s long-standing record in Test matches.

Virat Kohli In Line To Break MS Dhoni’s Massive Record

As Team India will play against West Indies in the second and final Test match in Jamaica from Friday (August 30)  and if the men in blue manage to win, then luckily Kohli will overtake Dhoni as the most successful Indian skipper in terms of number of wins.

Not just that, the victory against West Indies will also give India a 2-0 series win for a two-match Test series in the World Test Championship. The Jamaica win will take Kohli’s number of Test victories as captain to 28 which is the most by any Indian captain.

As per Hindustan Times report, Kohli had earlier equaled Dhoni’s score of 27 Test wins as captain when India thrashed West Indies by 318 runs in the first Test in the Sir Viv Richards Stadium at Antigua.

Virat fans are super excited and awaiting for the big moment. Because before this, Kohli broke Sourav Ganguly’s record of most away Test wins as captain in India’s last victory. He also has the best win ratio as Indian Test captain.

As the win rate of Virat Kohli in test matches is 57.44 percent. This rightly proves that he is the only Indian captain to have win-rate over 50% (which is minimum 5 matches as captain).
