In the sixth match of CWC19, Pakistan faced England. Pakistan won the match by 14 runs. England won the toss and elected to bowl.

Pakistan beats England by 14 runs

England is already on the points table after defeating South Africa in the first match and Pakistan had faced backlash after being defeated by West Indies in the second match. They had scored their recorded lowest score in the match. And in this match, they have scored the recorded highest score in CWC19.

However, this match was their redemption as they scored 348 for 8. Azam and Hafeez scored 63 and 84 respectively, helping the team accomplish the total. Woakes and Ali got 3 wickets each and helped England control the strike of Pakistan.

England scored 334 for 9 wickets. After the massive target, Root and Buttler scored over a century with 107 and 103 each. However, other players were not of much help for the team. Pakistan's bowling was also on point today as they gave only 8 extras. Riaz got 3 wickets and Khan and Amir took 2 wickets each. Malik had the least economy rate giving only 10 runs in 3 overs taking a wicket.
