After AB de Villiers clarified the controversy with Cricket South Africa (CSA), Indian skipper Virat Kohli has voiced out supporting his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate.  Earlier, in a media report, it was stated that ABD had offered to come out of retirement a day before the squad was to be picked for the ICC World Cup 2019.

My brother you are honest and committed, Virat Kohli

The news regarding AB de Villers speculated comeback was reported in-between South Africa’s disastrous performance in the World Cup. He was severely criticized for the speculated information.

However, de Villiers, in a detailed statement on July 12 (Friday), finally broke his silence on the controversy surrounding his international comeback. In the statement he had shared on Twitter and Instagram, he had clearly mentioned his private conversation with Faf du Plessis where he had casually told Faf that if the team requires then he would be always ready to play.  But he also clarified that he did not demand to be included in the team.

Under AB de Viller’s Instagram post, Virat Kolhi has expressed his comment saying, "My brother you are the most honest and committed man I know. It's been unfortunate to see this happen to you. But know that we stand with you and believe in you. Seeing people enter your personal space has been sad to see and uncalled for. More love and power to you and your beautiful family. Me and Anushka are Always here for you guys”.

It doesn’t end only with Kohli, even Yuvraj Singh extended his support saying"My dear friend and legend, your one of the nicest guys i've ever played cricket with an absolute gem of a person! There was never a chance for SA in this World Cup to win without you! It is your country's loss not to have you in the squad not yours. The bigger the player more the criticism! We all know what a gentleman you are,"
