In what might come as a shock to Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Harbhajan Singh on Thursday picked Mumbai Indians (MI) as his favourite team in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
During a live chat session on Instagram, a fan asked Harbhajan Singh which was his favourite side between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Without doubts, he picked the latter and gave a logical explanation for his decision.
"I've played 10 years for Mumbai Indians, it is my life. I can never forget the memories I shared their, the crowd, Wankhede Stadium. My heart is with Mumbai Indians. But now I'm with Chennai Super Kings. I'm grateful for the love that I'm getting here. But I will have to chose Mumbai," said Harbhajan Singh.
On the current situation, he said, "I don't think IPL will happen because lot of people are dying so IPL is not that important at this point in time. Looking after people and saving lives is more important than cricket right now. Cricket can happen next year as well."
