Falcons Speed Skating Academy was established during 2018 and the mission behind starting the Academy is essentially to ease out the provision for our students.

Back in few years, the only source for Skating available to us was Nehru Stadium. It was highly challenging for the students to commence to Nehru Stadium post their school hours which made us to think of starting the Academy on our own and as a result, with the help of Parents, Falcons Speed Skating Academy was started successfully.

Academy was started initially with 30 students and 2 in-field experienced coaches – named Mr. Karthick and Mr. Magesh. Coaches Karthik and Magesh hold 10+ years of coaching experience in Skating. The Academy has grown over a couple of years with 100+ students and 6 coaches at current and striving to grow even more in the coming years.

We offer classes and trainings both in morning and evening as per the convenience of the students. The aim of our Academy is not only to produce winners but to produce world class skating campions and therefore we prepare our students for State and National levels.

In 2019, our students at various levels participated in District level roller skating competitions, held at Kanchipuram, and in State level competitions have won many medals and have brought glory to their families and to our Academy. Also, one of our students participated in CBSE national level competition and won medal.

In February 2021, our students participated in State level Roller Skating Competition, held in Coimbatore and won many medals and 5 skaters have been chosen for National level championships which was hosted at Mohali, Chandigarh between 31st March and 10th April 2021.

Our academy student R.S. Lakshitha, studying 6th Standard at D.A.V school, Adambakkam has won three Gold Medals for three different competitions and won the biggest dream trophy ‘National Championship’ for 2021 in 58th RSFI National Roller Skating Championship. Lakshitha is more passionate about her skating and started her training at the age of 6. She practiced skating in both the shifts in the initial days and later she started practicing in Nanganallur Corporation Skating Ring. At the age of 8, she joined Falcons Academy and was trained by Falcons coaches to showcase her best and thus National Championship.

We wish all the students at Falcons Academy a great success!

Thanks,
