There were heavy sporadic rainfall in and around Chennai yesterday evening. But the skies seem to clear now. Though it has been overcast, there has been no rain in the morning today, Dec 5th. Met department has reported that there will not be heavy rainfall in Chennai for the next 48 hours, though there might be showers. Satellite images captured in the morning also confirm the same.
