Video of passengers panicking mid-way during their SpiceJet flight journey has been released.

Video shows mid-air panic inside plane amid turbulence

A SpiceJet flight was carrying passengers from Mumbai to Durgapur in West Bengal last night. As it approached Durgapur, the plane began to fly low enough to land. The passengers took a video of the chaos that happened back then due to an unexpected air-turbulence.

Passengers began to scream in fear as the plane suddenly shook just in time to land. Some passengers fell from their seats as the plane shook. Fifteen people, including 12 passengers and three crew members, were injured in the incident.

Shortly afterwards, the plane landed safely at Durgapur airport. Following this, the injured passengers were given immediate first aid. SpiceJet has apologized for the incident.

A shocking video has surfaced on the internet claiming that the plane was taken by passengers during the crash. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has announced the appointment of committees to investigate the incident. In this connection, the Director of Air Defence H.N.Mishra said that he will conduct an inquiry.
