The groom's arrival 4 hours late for the wedding caused a stir in the house.
The wedding was to take place on the 22nd at Malkapur Bangara village in Buldana district of Maharashtra. According to the auspicious time, the wedding was to take place at 4 p.m. Thus all the arrangements for the wedding of the day were made smoothly.
In the evening the bride and her family come to the hall. But the groom didnot turn up for a long time. Time went on going 4 o'clock and then 5, 6pm and all. However, the groom did not come to the hall.
It was later revealed that the groom was drinking and dancing with his friends. Following this, the drunken groom arrived at the hall at 8 p.m. And friends who were drunk have made a closet in the hall. This led to fights between the bride and groom's famililes.
The father of the bride, who quietly observed all this, refused to allow his daughter to marry off his daughter to the drunken groom. And instead, he consulkted with a relative who came to the wedding immediately and got his daughter married off to him.
The father of the bride said, "The wedding ceremony was supposed to be on April 22, the groom’s side were busy dancing. The wedding time was at 4 pm but they reached the venue at 8 pm. So, I got my daughter married to one of my relatives.”
