TEACHER WORKED IN 25 SCHOOLS AT THE SAME TIME; EARNED 1 CRORE - POLICE REVEAL INTERESTING DETAILS!

A full-time teacher who was employed in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), a residential school for girls from the weaker sections of the society, is reported to have worked at 25 schools simultaneously. Her total earning in 13 months, until February 2020 was 1 crore.

Anamika Shukla’s case came up only recently when a database of teachers was being created on the Manav Sampada portal. After the personal records were uploaded, they found that one person named Anamika Shukla with the same bank and other personal details was listed at 25 schools.

She had managed to be present at all schools even when they are supposed to mark their attendance online. However, the exact way by which she managed to teach in all the schools is unknown.

Her employment was found in KGBVs districts like Baghpat, Aligarh, Ambedkar Nagar, Saharanpur, and Prayagraj, among others. “We had asked our officers to investigate the matter. Due to the lockdown her records couldn’t be traced. I had sent a reminder to officers on May 26. Strict action will be taken if the information about the teacher is found true,” Viay Kuran Anand, Director General of school education told TOI.

The Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan office had issued a letter to 6 districts to check for this teacher. One school found that the woman was working with them. “She was asked to report to us but she didn’t. Her documents, available with us, have been sent for verification at a higher level. Her salary has also been stopped,” Anand Prakash, the school’s education officer told TOI.
