Day in and day out, we come across a lot of stray dogs standing in front of road-side shops hoping that someone would feed them, roaming across streets in search of a shady spot to sleep, getting beaten by stones and sticks for nothing, absolutely nothing and what not! And please lets us not speak about that ‘look’ on their faces.

It raises a couple of serious questions. Isn’t the world home for all living beings? Why do humans find harming those voiceless creatures so easy?
In a blood boiling case, an unidentified person from Mumbai has tied a stray dog to a vehicle and dragged it to death.
According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, a local journalist spotted the animal’s dead body with its neck twisted, eyes popping out and blood dripping from private parts across the ONGC Colony at Bandra-Kurla Complex on Saturday morning. The dog’s front limb was tied to a cloth.
Later, a friend of the journalist informed the Bombay Animal Rights and posted an appeal on social media seeking help. A case has also been filed against the convict at BKC police station. The police said they will check CCTVs from the area to get leads into the case.
