GoFuel, a start-up fuel company, partnering with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has commenced the supply of fuel - High speed diesel (HSD) to consumers, at doorstep.
GoFuel supplies fuel on demand by customers through web or app. This distribution of fuel at doorstep addresses the increasiing demand of customers, who are static at a place like big generators, agriculture and agro based businesses, other Industries, when there is a limited availability of petro pumps around. This way of distribution at doorstep avoids pilferage and waste during storage and transit, and encourages contactless and digital based transactions.
Keeping the traditions of Indian Oil Company Ltd. and by bringing innovative and tech-based solutions, GoFuel is taking the challenges head-on and moving fast to become the preferred oil distribution enterprise in India.
GoFuel has got licence and authorisation from the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO), a nodal agency that approves oil business & distribution operations.
While speaking about GoFuel's structure and plans, its founder and CEO Mr. Vinodhraj said that Chennai will be the pilot market to start with, and the company is planning to expand the business having region-wise targets and scaling up operations to become the big nation-wide distribution network in next 18 months.
Already, the zone wise fuel demand in Chennai and its suburbs is clearly seen with bulk orders coming from various industries, banks, big residential apartment complexes, hospitals, shopping malls and warehouses. With a tie-up with three Oil majors of India and getting fuel from their supply pumps, GoFuel has made its distribution of diesel easy by having oil tankers placed at various places in the City. Here, the fuel is sold at market rate and there is no difference in prices!
The next plan of GoFuel is to increase the number of fleets to have better connection and access to agriculture, power generation and transport sectors located in remote and rural areas of our country.
