POLICE INSPECTOR RAPES WOMAN: “A VIDEO WAS SHOT...SEVERAL TIMES,” SAYS SENIOR OFFICER

While the safety for women has been stressed regularly around the World, the concern seems to be worsening every day, especially when some of the police officers involve themselves in such a ruthless act. A shocking incident involving a woman and a police officer happened at Jind, Haryana.

Reportedly, the accused police officer had allegedly raped a woman which came to light on August 10 (Saturday). According to the reports, the police inspector had been involving in a sexual assault with the woman multiple times by threatening her with the video. The police inspector has been arrested and further investigations are underway.

The Senior Police officer Ms Pushpa who is handling the case was quoted as saying “ On Friday, we got a rape complaint by a woman against an inspector. A video was shot which was used to sexually assault her several times. We have registered a case and arrested the accused. The medical examination of the woman was done”. Ms Pushpa also told that the accused has been arrested and is on three-day police remand.
