WATCH VIDEO: GROUP OF ELEPHANTS ESCAPE SEVERE MISHAP ON RAILWAY TRACK

In a nail-biting video that has shocked people all across the country, a group of more than 20 elephants narrowly escaped a severe mishap while crossing the railway track.

The shocking incident took place in Khuntuni Forest Range under Athagarh Forest Division of Cuttack on Monday. But all thanks to the alert loco driver who in the nick-of-time saved elephants from mishap.

According to Odisha news report, a train from Dhenkanal was passing through, when a group of elephants crossed the railway track. As soon as the driver of the loco train spotted the elephants, he applied brakes on time which made the train to stop just a few metres away from the animals.

This incident made headlines all over, and people hailed the driver for his alertness. This video was shot from inside the driver’s cabin that went viral on social media.
