Ever since the news has gone viral, the state has come into action and measures are being taken. According to a NDTV report, one of the patient, is a 60-year-old man who had traveled from Dubai while another patient, is a 19-year-old student who had travelled from Delhi.

While speaking to NDTV, District Collector PB Nooh said, "this is a warning sign. Thousands of innocent, unknown people might also have come in contact with these asymptomatic carriers. The fact that they passed their 14-day quarantine period, without showing any symptoms, is further alarming. This means, we still need to tread a cautious path."

Highlighting about each patient, the 60-year-old man had been under quarantine from March 19 to April 6. He took a flight from Sharjah to Thiruvananthapuram and traveled by road to his hometown.
