MAN CAUGHT FOR SNEAKING INTO HOSTELS TO CUT UP GIRLS' UNDERGARMENTS! WHY DID HE COMMIT THE CRIME? SHOCKING DETAILS

In a shocking incident, a man who allegedly used to sneak into girls’ flats and PGs was caught by the police in Vijay Nagar, Indore. The accused man allegedly tore the undergarments of the girls. The 26-year- old man was arrested after neighbors reported his suspicious activities to the police. The accused reportedly used to enter PGs and hostels at night, take out the undergarments kept in their cupboards to tear them. 

The accused however has always managed to flee before the victims woke up. Tehzib Qazi, Vijay Nagar, police station in-charge told they had received several complaints from girls. They coordinated with the Nagar Suraksha Samiti and the security guards who were then deployed on different beats. They especially focused on areas near hostels and rooms where girls lived.

The cop added, "Different persons were asked to keep a close watch and take a stroll in these localities every night in search of the intruder."

On Friday night, a local saw the man and informed the cop. During this time, the accused broke into a house. After being alerted, police officials reached the spot and arrested the accused

“During interrogation, the accused identified himself as Shrikant. As per the police, the accused had been wanted in relation to a similar crime and had been absconding for the last 1 year. When he was being questioned, the accused confessed to visiting establishments in Sheetal Nagar, Swarna Bagh Colony, Suman Nagar and colonies in Vijay Nagar,” Times now reported.

According to the police, he worked as security guard earlier and has been accused of theft and harassment in the past. He has currently been booked under the same charges.
