The security guard frisked Sateesh and could not find anything from his pocket. Within seconds, Sateesh collapsed and fell on the security guard. When Sateesh's friends took him to a hospital, he was declared brought dead.

Eyewitnesses including Sateesh's friends had said that the security did not attack him and he might have died because of the shock of being caught for stealing.
