This video is sure to make your day, as it made mine! A video of a baby elephant getting rescued after it fell into a ditch is going viral on social media.

Baby elephant rescued from ditch mother returns to say Thank You

The adorable party in this video is when the mother with her herd comes back to say 'Thank You' to the helpers. This video was shared on Twitter by IFS officer Parveen Kaswan.

According to India Today this video was received to Parveen on WhatsApp. The rescue video, is not just grabbing headlines but has also been viewed over 6.1k times.

IFS officer Parveen shared the video with a caption that read as "Best you will watch today. An #elephant calf fell into a ditch which was rescued. And see how mother stopped to thank the people. This is typical behaviour, elephants first try to rescue by their own, then leave space & stand far for getting help from Human."

Giving details about the video, a baby elephant can be seen struggling to get out of a ditch but the slippery sand makes it extremely difficult. After many attempts, the rescuers finally get the baby out of the ditch who runs to its family. The herd can be seen standing a few metres away and desperately looking at the rescue.

As soon as the baby is out of the ditch, the mother elephant stops by and turns back to thank the rescuers. That moment will totally melt your heart!
