Some declassified documents released by CIA has reportedly revealed that, after the 1962 Sino-Indian War, the US intelligence feared that China could possibly attack India through Nepal, Myanmar and even Bhutan. They reportedly estimated that China could mobilise a little more than 1,20,000 troops for such attacks and also assessed air threat to India.
