The CEO of Wipro Abidali Z Neemuchwala has announced his resignation plans on January 31 (Friday) as per India Today report.
The 52-year-old CEO and Managing director of the IT biggie will continue to hold office until a replacement is found for his position. Reportedly Abidali Z Neemuchwala has taken the decision owing to family commitments.
"We thank Neemuchwala for his leadership and his contributions to the Wipro. Over the last four years, he helped build a strong execution mindset, drove key acquisitions and scaled our Digital business globally," Wipro Chairman Rishad Premji was quoted by India Today.
Neemuchwala expressed his gratitude saying, "lt has been my honour and privilege to serve Wipro, a company with a rich legacy of almost 75 years...I thank Azim Premji, Rishad, our Board of Directors, my Wipro colleagues and customers for their support over the years".
