The Karin Kuruma Armored, also regularly called the Kuruma for short, is by far the best car that you can buy as a beginner in GTA 5 Online. You will rarely come across a player who does not own one.
The Kuruma (Armored) is a bulletproof rally car, essentially making it a no-brainer choice for the first car to buy. Being a rally car, it has great handling and is impressively quick as well. Most missions and heists in GTA 5 Online consist of you being shot by cops or other NCPS. This car will essentially make you immune to bullets that is until you are inside of it of course. Also, if the doors fall off for some reason, you will get shot.
The Imponte Duke O'Death
The Kuruma Armored might be able to protect you from bullets, but a single RPG will kill you and blow your precious Kuruma into tiny bits and pieces. This is where the Imponte Duke O'Death comes into play. This car not only looks sick and straight out of the post-apocalyptic world of Mad Max, but it also is bulletproof and can take up to 3 RPG hits and still remain drivable.
The Annis Elegy RH8
The above-mentioned cars are great and all but, they may be out of reach of a beginner in GTA 5 Online because well, they cost money and, a beginner does not have much of that.
The Annis Elegy RH8 is based on the popular Japanese sports car, the Nissan GTR - R35 and it performs like one too. It has superb handling and impressive acceleration and best of all, it is free if you register with the Rockstar Games Social Club.
