PRITHVIRAJ ANNOUNCES NEW PROJECT

We had earlier reported that actor Prithviraj is all set to follow up his hat-trick success this year with a series of new projects that he had signed on earlier. Although the actor had recently announced that he will finish his current commitments and will not be signing anymore projects until the completion of Blessy's Aadujeevitham, based on the popular novel by Benyamin, he took to his social media page to announce yet another project.

 

This new film, titled Kunchirakkottu Kaali, is reportedly a period flick based on the history of the Venad region and the lives of warriors such as Iravikutty Pillai and his disciple Kunchirakkottu Kaali. The actor revealed these details on his social media page. He wrote:

 

The history of any land is crafted by men of valour and sacrifice – some of them we know and worship but most of them we never know and are forgotten. The courage, and steadfastness of such unsung heroes are unparalleled in the history of Venad. The ballads of Venad, shrouded in the haze of time, is the story of heroic men like Chief Lieutenant 'Iravikutty Pillai' and his trusted disciple "Kunchirakkottu Kaali" and thousands of other patriots who laid down their lives in defense of their beloved land.

The lives, sacrifices and heroism of these immortal warriors of Venad will soon be relived through an epic.
