OFFICIAL: AFTER KAMAL HAASAN'S UTTAMA VILLAIN, ITS GOING TO BE THE REMAKE OF THIS SUPER HIT FILM

Queen is one of the most important films in the career of Kangana Ranaut, which fetched her National Award for her lively performance.
 

Now, as per the latest reports, the Kannada remake of this film has officially gone on floors from today (6th June). Parul Yadav will be reprising Kangana's role in this remake, while Ramesh Aravind will be heading the direction department. This will be Ramesh Aravind's next directorial venture after Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain.  The Kannada version has been titled as 'Butterfly'.

It is also rumored that Amy Jackson has been brought onboard to portray the role played by Lisa Haydon in the original.
