Ajith's 2014 release Veeram will now be remade in Bollywood! As per reports, Akshay Kumar who is in his streak of doing social films wanted to shift gears to do a mass commercial film, and that's when he decided to remake Ajith's Veeram.

Akshay Kumar who is currently working on films like; Padman and Gold will soon feature in this remake. If sources are to be believed, then the film will be titled 'Land of Lungi' (LOL) and the film is expected to start its shoot by Jan 2018. Reports also state Akshay's close friend from the industry, director Sajid will be directing this movie. This will be the ninth time that Akshay and Sajid will be working together.
