As per Rhea Chakraborty, his ex-girlfriend's recent statements, she began to see signs of mental illness in Sushant when they were in Italy on a holiday in October 2019.
Rhea apparently told officials that Sushant and she were staying at a 600-year-old heritage hotel in Italy in October 2019 during their Europe trip. The hotel came with huge rooms and there were some old paintings on the walls in the room.
One such painting was of Saturn devouring its own child (Representative of the image above). Rhea was in another room with her brother Showik Chakraborty. When she returned, she found Sushant chanting some mantras using a Rudraksha, and looking visibly shaken.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence on June 14. There hasn't been any clarity on what prompted the young and successful actor to take such an extreme step. His hits included Kai Po Che, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Chichhore.
He was last seen in Dil Bechara, which directly released on to Disney-Hotstar. Needless to say, fans were quite emotional about his swan song.
