Bollywood films are popular all over the world and Pakistan is one of the bigger centers. Salman Khan enjoys a good fan following in Pakistan, and all his films in recent times are well received and have turned out to be profitable ventures.

He is all set to release his much-awaited film Tubelight this Eid. The entire Bollywood is eagerly waiting for its release but looks like Pakistani filmmakers are not happy with the release in their country. Few Pakistani filmmakers along with the Film Producers Association and Film Distributors Association want to stall Tubelight's release in Pakistan.

Eid is undoubtedly the biggest festival of Pakistan and all big Pakistani films are looking to hit screens during this festival time. But, if Salman's Tubelight hits the screens along with their films then the makers there fear a financial loss to their films as their films would get a very limited number of screens only.

The protesters are trying to stall Salman Khan's Tubelight and are seeking for laws that can boycott Indian film releases during Muslim holidays in Pakistan. It must be noted that the last week's biggie Baahubali 2 too faced ban threat from Kannadiga protesters before the movie release and was sorted out amicably after their expectations were met.
