I am a big movie buff,  I love movies, I grew up watching good movies, I used to like Mani sir's movies that too selective like Mouna Ragam, Nayagan, Roja and Alaipayudhey.  I am also a very big fan of Director Shankar for his outstanding movies like Gentleman, Indian, Boys and Jeans.   However, I did see a movie in 2010 which blew me away was "Angadi Theru",  I am 30yrs old, till now I consider this movie to be the top most of my favorites than any other movie which has been my favorite so far.  I applaud Mr. Balan for his impeccable sense of movie making apart from his hunger to present a meaningful cinema to the world audience.  Balan sir, I can tell u one thing that your movie Angadi Theru undoubtedly deserved an academy award, somewhere I read that there was a very hard competition between two movies for the 2010 Indian submission to Academy awards and those were Angadi Theru and Peepli Live.  I am sure if Angadi Theru was submitted, you would have made our Tamil Nadu feel proud,  but sometimes good things will go unnoticed.  However, I was expecting at least a National Award for the Best Film and Best Director and Best Actress Category, and it was a big let down,  I doubt whether the jury involved in National Film Awards are intelligent enough to analyze and select the best ones.  I am kind of happy for you winning the best director category in Vijay Awards.  Sir, I have become your die hard fan and love your perception towards making sensible movies.   My son is 3 years old, when he grows big I would insist him to watch Angadi Theru for the movie which carried a strong social message, values, poverty, above all reality of life.   I wish you good luck for your future projects.   Angadi Theru was a masterpiece.  You are unique.  I wish to have your email id,  if you are willing to send me your mail id I would be happy. You can send at this id: monu.sudha2@gmail.com
